7 Years

A lot can happen in 7 years. You can overcome the bad luck of breaking a mirror, or you can go from childless to 2 kids, a house and a dog. Fortunately we didn't break any mirrors.

7 years ago today at 12:12AM, we brought into this world Jacob Alexander Barrett.
Life sure is different. Tonight he is having 3 friends come over for pizza, then going to the bowling alley, then coming home to hot tub and then spend the night.

Yikes. What ever happened to the days of picking up and going when ever and where ever you wanted? I'm not sure where they went, but I am sure that they've been replaced with much better days.
